As far back as I can remember, I've had original melodies, harmonies and sometimes full orchestral arrangements playing in my mind.  Some people may find that strange, but it has actually been a constant source of comfort and motivation for me. I found that with the internal music, came the need to find outlets to express it, and as a result, I composed my first published children's song at the age of five and wrote my first piano arrangement at the age of eight. Although I studied classical vocal performance, I worked my way through college composing music for film projects, educational curricula and other projects and found that I simply loved music composition!

 

    Over the years, I've enjoyed writing choral anthems, ensemble arrangements and songs of faith, but it was composition for the performing arts that I found to be my favorite musical challenge. I'm excited to currently be working on several new musical theater productions for Legacy Theatre Group!
